Description

This course is part of the Compulsory Curriculum or Personality Development Course, which aims to develop knowledge and instill Pancasila values in the nation's young generation.
The cultivation of Pancasila values is carried out through substance and technical lectures. Lectures emphasize the depth of knowledge about Pancasila and its implementation in everyday life. This course aims to direct students to the ability to analyze, criticize, and construct reality in local and global contexts based on Pancasila values. Students are considered successful in completing this course if they can understand the importance of Pancasila implementation in policies, programs, and social issues that are happening, both locally and globally.

Course Content

  • Pancasila in Historical Studies: Pre-Independence Era, Old Order Era, New Order Era, Reformation Era. 2. Pancasila as a Philosophical System: Definition of Pancasila Philosophy, Nature of Pancasila Precepts, Actualization of Pancasila Philosophy.
  • Pancasila as Ideology: Definition and Meaning of Ideology, Pancasila and World Ideology, Pancasila and Religion.
  • Pancasila as the State Foundation: Definition and Position of Pancasila as the State Constitution, Relationship between Pancasila and the Preamble of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, Elaboration of Pancasila in the Articles of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, Implementation of Pancasila in Making State Policy Making in Politics, Economics, Socio-Culture and Defense.
  • Pancasila as an Ethical System: Definition of Ethics, Pancasila Ethics, Ethical Values of Pancasila (Godhead, Humanity, Unity, Democracy and Justice), Pancasila as a Solution to National Problems.
  • Pancasila as the Value Foundation for Science Development: Value-Free and Non-Value-Free Science and Technology in the development/innovation of science and technology, Pancasila values as the basis of science and technology development.
