Prof. Myrtati D. Artaria, M.A., Ph.D.

Biography

A graduate of S1 Anthropology (Universitas Airlangga), S2 at Arizona State University (USA), and S3 at The University of Adelaide (Australia), and has taken classes at the New York Institute of Photography (USA); is a member of AAI (Indonesian Anthropology Association). She has received scholarships and grants from Fulbright, AUSAID, the Ministry of Women's Empowerment, and the President of Indonesia. Study interests include bio-anthropology, dental anthropology, human biological variation, health anthropology, gender, and forensic anthropology, especially in the field of facial approximation from skulls. As of February 2024, she has written 62 articles indexed by Scopus and or SINTA-accredited journals, 20 book chapters, and reference books both published in Indonesia and outside Indonesia.
